We are a locally owned and operated flooring store serving the Akron, Canton, and south Cleveland area. Our Design Associates go to our customer's location with a mobile showroom filled with over 3,000 samples of all types of flooring including carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl, engineered tile and stone, and laminate. We provide a complimentary consultation complete with inspection and measurement of the project, review of samples and the presentation of a detailed quote. We then manage the project from start to finish, ensuring our customer's complete satisfaction and enjoyment of their new space.
We are so excited to bring this personalized service to our customers and we are committed to providing to best in-home flooring experience, working collaboratively with our customers to find products that meet their needs, match their styles and fit their budgets. We also enjoy being able to give back to our communities- our company donates money to and raises awareness for different organizations each month (our Monthly Missions) and we have a partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to donate a portion of proceeds of certain products to help raise money to find cures.

Got a quick response from Floor Coverings International and they had an estimator out same day. He was clean and professional and listened to what we needed without trying upsell us. Among several quotes, theirs was the best we received. Our installers did excellent work and the new carpet looks fantastic! Very happy with our purchase and experience.

Matt was great to deal with on the sales end, he was very helpful and responsive, especially as he was working with us before our arrival from overseas! The hardwood floor expert they contract with, Don Marshall, is a super star, and did an amazing job refinishing our floors before we moved in. They gave us a price and a timeline and stuck to both! Will definitely hire them again in the future.

John and his team did an EXCELLENT job and were consummate professionals!!! John brought high energy, top notch expertise, and professional reliability (including ensuring safety of all by wearing masks). From soup to nuts, we appreciated the care he has with his craft, its not about just selling carpets for them, its about envisioning the environment you want to cultivate in your home, so John took his time listening and providing sound advice without rushing us. John makes you feel like hes an old friend and we were impressed that hes also a history buff. He recognized the Ethiopian flag in one of our bedrooms, which was highly impressive. His installer, Al, was also absolutely AMAZING and Im convinced carries the strength of three people combined. We got beautiful gray carpets with exactly the grade we were looking for and I highly recommend going with this company! During a global pandemic, it was refreshing to get amazing business from GOOD people who take their craft and your visions seriously!! Go with them!! You cant go wrong!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We don't have any price gimmicks or ""one week only sales"". There are no ""buy 2 rooms get 1 free"" type of stuff.
We simply offer the best products from the best manufacturers, using the most qualified installers, at an everyday great value. Our prices are always all-inclusive, with no change-orders. Once we give you a price, it stays that way even if your job becomes more complex once we remove your current flooring. There are no surprises, and you will not pay your balance until you are completely satisfied with result.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we go to a customer's home for their free consultation we take the time to find out what their wants and needs are for their space. We measure the space, view and discuss different samples, and provide a detailed quote for the project. We help them find products that fit their family's lifestyle and budget. We know that what works for one family, may not be a practical choice for another and we have many child and pet friendly options that not only perform well, but also look beautiful!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Everybody in the Floor Coverings International family receives 100's of hours of computer based and hands on training.
We visit the home office in Atlanta 2-4 times a year for specialized workshops.
We meet monthly with our reps from each company to learn the latest installation techniques and tips to get the most longevity and performance out of each product we carry.
Every installer is scrutinized for certifications, references, years of experience, and overall talent. We aren't looking for a bargain when it comes to installers, we are looking for the best available at a good value.
