Ben was very professional through my screening process. I didn't want to pay for just any trainer, if I was going to pull the trigger I wanted someone with real credentials. Ben didn't stop with just an undergraduate degree but invested more in himself by obtaining a masters too. This stood out to me and I felt he was highly educated and I wanted a trainer who takes it seriously. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing depends on what you're looking to do! I offer travel training, gym training, and online (monthly and individual plans). My initial meet-ups are $30 for a consultation and fitness assessment. From there, in-person sessions start at $45 and monthly online –which I most strongly encourage– is $179/month. Please view the 'pricing' page of my website for more specific pricing information. For everything I do, I offer discounts if you make a longer commitment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I'll start by sending him or her my '20 Questions' health-fitness questionnaire to learn all about the person and their health history. If the person is local (around northern Ohio), I prefer to schedule to meet right off the bat so perform an in-person movement assessment as well. Once I have all the info, I will get them set up with my online training app and start scheduling workouts and nutrition plans to follow. We will also begin messaging back and forth, building that relationship that is so crucial to be successful.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes. I maintain my Certified Exercise Physiologist credential through the American College of Sports Medicine by completing continuing education credits through a variety of means. I also do a lot of reading and I'm always learning through my experiences to best stay on top of latest trends & developments.
