- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will do weddings outside my prefered area for an additional charge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk with the bride and groom about the ceremony they would like. Do they have anything they'd like to say to one another? Do they want me to include it in the ceremony I'll read? Have it be a repeat after me part of the ceremony or will they read it from a print or by memory? I will typically send them a few sample ceremonies I think may interest them and once I have a good idea what they like and what they want I will send a first draft ceremony. Once it's finalized I will give them an idea of how long it will take and if they wish we can meet and have a rehearsal with the wedding party.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took several courses online through the Universal Church of life. I got my certificate through that church and then got authorized in the state of Ohio and Michigan to perform weddings. I have also been authorized in other states over time as I was asked to perform weddings in them.
