- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We quote a flat rate per job, not an hourly rate — the price we give you is the price you pay. No meter running, no surprise charges at the end. Quotes are free with no obligation. We'll talk through your home on a quick phone call and ask for a few photos of the kitchen, bathrooms, and any problem areas, then send you a firm number. For a rough idea: a standard clean on a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home usually runs $200–$250 depending on size and condition. Deep cleans and move-outs run higher; recurring customers pay less per visit. New customers get $25 off their first clean, and we bring all our own supplies and equipment at no extra charge. We're a newer business here in Toledo and we're building our reputation, so we're flexible. If you have a budget in mind or a competing quote, tell us — we'll do our best to work with you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Reach out — message us here. Free quote — a quick call about your home: size, number of bathrooms, condition, and anything you especially want handled. We'll ask you to text a few photos of the kitchen, baths, and any problem spots so the number we give you is accurate and doesn't change on the day. Firm flat price — sent to you, no obligation. Schedule — pick a day and time, and let us know how we get in. Clean day — your cleaner arrives on time with all supplies, and does a quick walkthrough with you first so priorities are clear. Final check — we walk through with you before leaving, or send photos if you're not home. Payment — secure card payment through Stripe. Nothing to arrange in advance. Re-clean guarantee — if anything isn't right, tell us within 24 hours and we'll come back and redo it free.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our cleaners are vetted professionals with years of hands-on residential cleaning experience before joining us. This is their trade. Everyone works from the same room-by-room checklist, so you get the same result regardless of who's scheduled — the right products for each surface, from granite and hardwood to stainless, tile, and grout, and an order of operations that keeps a finished room from getting undone halfway through the job. Restday Home Cleaning is fully insured and bonded. The business is newer. The people doing the work aren't. We'd rather earn your review by doing the job right than lean on a long list of credentials.
