Scott fixed my sister's computer. Apparently, a virus had completely disabled it but he was able to find the problem and then fix it. I thought he was very attentive and reasonable. I was satisfied with the service he provided.Jan 16, 2014Verified

We were having trouble with one of two monitors staying on for a new PC. Scott diagnosed the problem right away. I was extremely impressed by his technical knowledge. He quickly fixed the problem and gave us a tremendous amount of valuable information regarding our PC.Dec 31, 2013Verified
I had Scott out to install a new heatsink in my computer The job only took 20 minutes or so and went very smooth. Scott is a very down to earth guy and easy to talk to. He definitely knows his computers and there is nothing that could have gone better. He did a great job. I was surprised that no other techs on thumbtack even bothered to reply to my post, probably cause I had an idea of what the job roughly should cost and I guess they did not want to bother. Either way I am glad they did not reply because this is the gentleman I will call when I need work done that I am unable to. He came out to my house in the evening which helped me a great deal due to a disability which prevents me from leaving the house. He gave me an estimate for 40 dollars and upon completion only charged me 30 dollars. Very satisfied and would recommend him to anyone, anytime. I know he will stand by his work and do a great job. A happy customer, FrankJan 16, 2014Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have my prices listed on my website. I offer both flat rate and hourly depending on the issue.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started by supporting my college as I went to school. I then decided I really enjoyed IT, and started working for a local computer shop. I was promoted to a network support position and over time, move along with my carrier. I now support 500+ users at multiple locations at my day job. I have been in IT for over 15 years! Thubtack offers me the opportunity to offer my skills to people who really need it at an affordable price.
- What types of customers have you worked with? The most common calls are to fix non-booting systems due to virus / spyware issues. Some issues just require offering my clients a simple and cost effective options to prevent future issues as well. I try to be both a service professional, but also an teacher.
