Introduction: I provide drumming lessons and services. I've been disabled for over 4 years now, and I can't play professionally anymore, but I may consider trying to give lessons. I've played for 45 years now (since I was 5), and didn't take my first lesson until the 6th grade, so I'm not big on reading sheet music. I am (pretty much) self-taught, and played in bands before I ever took a lesson. I have a custom-ordered Tama Starclassic Maple drum-kit $8,000.00 worth. For the little guys and girls, I would suggest getting them a small drumset. You can get one for about $300.00 (new), and that's cheaper than most snare drums (with a stand). Like I said, I would consider giving lessons, if the right opportunity comes along. I've played on the road when I was 18, and played from Ohio, to L.A. and back twice ( over 2 years), and have toured the mid-west circuit. I've also played down south for over twenty years, and have done many studio recordings. I mostly have played Rock & Roll, but I can play almost anything, but I don't care much for Country.
