I am an English mural and portrait painter, and photographer. I'm now living in Oklahoma, USA but can travel for a suitable commission. If possible I paint from my own portrait sittings and photoshoots, however, I also paint many portraits from my customers own photos. Although I was classically trained at Nottingham University in England and can paint in any style, my go to style is photorealism. Since I am both an artist and photographer, the two disciplines heavily influence my work. Quite simply I like my art to have photographic qualities, and my photography to look like art. My style will, however, obviously depend on my customers wishes, and my goal is to always meet and exceed their expectations for a commission. I love to paint in acrylics as I can continually rework acrylic paint until my work is exactly how I want it to be. I paint in oils too but with slower drying times oil painting take much longer. Watercolors are not my thing as you have to get them right first time, and I rarely get anything right first time!See more
