Deciding to train with Ali is easily the best decision I have made for myself in so long! I decided to start working out with a personal trainer 2 months before my birthday/the new year so I could hopefully see and feel some results, but it has been so much more than that! Ali is extremely knowledgeable and is able to show you and explain in detail everything he has you do. I have dropped a pant size and a few pounds, but Ali has helped me figure out that the number on the scale dropping does not always equal “healthy”. It’s about body fat percentages and eating better and getting stronger and FEELING better about myself — all of those things have improved drastically for me over the past two months. Ali has helped me come back from a totally sedentary lifestyle, plagued with knee and Achilles tendon problems. Even mild walking was difficult, and taking the stairs was impossible. Ali has been patient, but pushes me to do more every time. He has a great understanding of physiology and has helped me gain strength without further injury. If you are anything like me, pulling the trigger to get into the gym is TRULY a task. But I am so glad I did. Ali has so many wonderful qualities that make him a wonderful and relatable trainer. He is encouraging, so knowledgeable, and most of all, compassionate. He is so understanding when life inevitably gets in the way and so flexible with scheduling. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Free consultation at a public, friendly establishment (Starbucks etc.) where we can discuss options. If my services are accepted, we will do a quick background history check, bodyfat estimate (handheld BIA), and get started!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?High School/Collegiate athlete at Oklahoma City University (Men's Rowing/Olympic Lifting). Graduated with B.S. in Kinesiology/Fitness Management from the University of Central Oklahoma. National Strength and Conditioning certified personal trainer (NSCA-CPT). American College of Sports Medicine certified exercise physiologist (ACSM EP-C).
