Introduction: Two Buddies is a family owned business based out of Norman, OK. Owners Cody and Libby Ross are committed to both quality and service. Together they share a love and understanding for helping others. Two Buddies was created when Libby’s grandfather was in need of a hip replacement and his home was not safe or accessible. Libby had all the medical and social care lined out for him but she feared his safety as his home lacked handicap access and was in desperate need of repairs. At that point she needed the help of a couple buddies to help her provide better access and home repairs to her grandfather’s home. We all need the help of Two Buddies now and then. Libby’s educational background and Cody’s explicit construction experience and military background are the key ingredients for an honorable and dedicated business. Helping people and seeing their happy expressions when the job is complete.

Got a groupon for my daughter $135 for 4 hours handyman work, with the understanding that work included (2) men working. My daughter desided to have them scrap the paint from her outsde shed and start painting it. At 9am 1 (one) not so presentable man showed up. I said to the man, "I thought there was to be 2 men"???? He laughted and said, "oh, hahaha, nope just me". Then for over an hour he scraped the wood on the door as in the very outside wood, the wood that frames the outside door and the next 3 hours was spent scraping only the wood that framed the shed, not one bit of the other wood was touched! So all he did was 4 boards, as in 2by4s on two sides of the shed, the other to sides were doors. So I paid $32.5 an hour for the worse job of handyman work I have ever seen in my life, I'm 62!!!! Forget these rip off artists! They should not be allowed to even build a dog house!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

These guys did decent work. However, they didn't come in to let me know they had done it. I didn't even realize the work had been done. About a week later, I get a bunch of angry calls and texts, and a guy beating on my door early in the morning. The first contact was in the afternoon on a Wednesday. I paid Thursday morning. It was a very annoying experience. I will not be using them again.

We do agree this situation became very frustrating. We completed the work, the customer knew work was being performed as it was scheduled pretty far in advance and there were people at home during the time work was being performed. Our policy is to collect at the job's completion to avoid these types of situations, that is unless prior arrangements have been made. The technician on the job was directed to collect and could not because the customer was not on site at time of completion. I am sure the customer knew the work was done because a brand new widow was installed. The technician has called 3 times and went by the customers house 4 times trying collect. There were no angry phone calls, as there was never a phone conversation, the customer would not answer the phone call. The text messages were direct but not angry, lots of time was lost trying to get the customer to cooperate. So we 100% agree this was an annoying experience and could of been avoided with a little communication. We have no problem allowing a customer time to pay if they can not afford it immediately but that has to be agreed on prior to work. I am sorry this the way it turned out, I wish the customer would have called the office to discuss a payment option to avoid unnecessary aggravation.

Cody and Alex installed tile for my in my master bathroom. I called them to do the job as I was about to list my house for sale, so the job had to be completed very quickly and with short notice. They did an excellent job, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. They are extremely polite, easy to work with and friendly as well. Dealing with Cody's wife in the office is a pleasure too. I recommend them to anyone looking for help with just about ANY job!

Cody and his wife were so helpful not only in completing the work (installing handicap ramps) but also in finding information on care providers for my mom! The work was done in just a few hours and Cody was careful to ensure we were pleased. This is one number I'll be hanging onto for future jobs!
