FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Within the area of private investigations, case needs vary drastically and, therefore, fees are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Generally speaking, however, investigative fees run $70 per hour with a four hour minimum and pricing discounts are available after 24 and 40 hours of contracted work. Bodyguard contracts are billed at a rate of $500 per day, per bodyguard, regardless of the number of hours needed per day. Site security is billed at a rate of $30 per hour for armed security and $20 per hour for unarmed security. All security guards are licensed and bonded/insured and have prior law enforcement and/or military experience or an extensive work history in private security.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always offer a free, initial consultation. The consultation typically lasts 30 minutes during which we will discuss the details of your case. Within 24 hours of your consultation, I will provide you with an estimate which covers the expected investigative and/or security work relevant to your specific case along with a fee quote. You will then have the option to either accept or deny the estimate. If you accept the estimate, I will then forward you a contract to be completed and work on your case will begin once I receive the signed contract.
