Introduction: We are one of the largest massage schools in North America. We were established inside Saint Anthony Hospital in 1903 (4 years before statehood). We operate one of the largest spas in Oklahoma. We provide on-site services, primarily chair massage to 144 corporations and 113 small businesses. The director and many of the faculty and staff were trained by David Palmer as early as 1995. (This year is David's 25th year as the inventor of chair massage.) Our rates for non-contract chair massage services range from $80 to $110 per hour per therapist. Our under contract corporations receive a $60 to $80 per hour per therapist rate, as well as other benefits. Our therapist complete a 1,800, 2-year program. This year the program will increase to 3,000 hours. The courses are taught by registered nurses and physicians. As health care practitioners, we would never accept a tip as this would constitute unprofessional behavior. We also provide chair massage on our 22-acre campus, north of Nichols Hills, inside our 14,000-sq. ft. facility.
