Update: Blades corrected all issues I had and owned his part. He showed character to ensure I was satisfied with the outcome. My first review was 2 stars. My second review right after he “completed” the job was 4 stars. I really just wanted him off my property. I had a plan for my project. He altered it(he talked me out of it). He said he was in contact with the city permit people and all was “good”. It wasn’t. I hate pergolas and yet it is almost what I got. I was supposed to have a 12” drop pitch on my roof. It might be 4” over 20’. My posts were supposed to be in concrete and I let him talk me out of it 😠. I was supposed to have 3 posts but he only put up two, I said “that’s why I bought 3 posts!” He said it should probably have a third post. He worked hard, I will give him that. I will never use him again. Both of the bottom of the two posts he put up hang over the concrete. Oh, and he popped our hot tub ($600 2 months old) and said “sorry”. He should have offered to fix it or replace it. The job was supposed to cost me $3500. Ended up costing me $4100 and I have to fix it myself.

He actually listened to my needs and his worker even worked after sunset to finish up the job...to the point that the Realtor called me to be sure that the person was supposed to be at the house as he caulking in the dark using a flashlight

After the customer reaches out to me, I make an appointment with a customer for a consultation. I bring a 3-D design software to design any project, big or small with the customer so they can see exactly what they are getting. We then proceed with a contract agreement after both parties have signed construction will begin.
