- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every American Heart Association Instructor is certified by the AHA initially. If the instructor meets the requirements, every two years they are required to recertify with the AHA.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was a need in my community. After several people, business's and organizations asking me, I decided to provide this service to my community and surrounding areas.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common courses we teach are all American Heart Association courses. In order of complexity they are: Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens, Heartsaver CPR AED, Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED, BLS for Healthcare Providers, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS.) We also offer Fire Extinguisher Training to keep your business OSHA compliant.
