- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Of course these are JUST a guideline...I do make exceptions for multiple dogs and multiple days depending on the situation. An example would be a home visit 3 times a day for a week...of course I'm not going to charge $15 x 3 visits a day x 5 days! For overnight...small dogs normally $25; bigs (40 lbs+) $35 For day play...small dogs $20; bigs $28 For daily visits in my area...$12 to $15 - outside my area depends on distance
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After we chat on the phone, I like to meet somewhere with your pet, so we can get to know each other a little bit and get a vibe from your baby. That normally tells both of us if it's going to work or not. And I can get a better understanding of your needs as a caregiver face to face with you and your little or big one right there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Lots of dogs in all shapes and sizes have come through my life. Not only have I enjoyed dogs as pets all my life, I have been blessed to be able to have trained with Golden Retrievers, and bred, raised, and trained Miniature Schnauzers. I had an 11 year old therapy male Schnauzer that passed in Dec 2016 but have three females that are 9 & 8 years old and a 1 year old that fill my life with joy daily! I'm currently becoming a certified trainer and taking classes on nutrition, pet massage, and several other speciality classes.
