Curtis Music Academy has been so helpful for my music education. Being in my early 20s, I had some trouble finding piano lessons that were not just for younger students. It was a relief when I discovered the Academy. My instructor is always excited to see me, and is so knowledgeable. I am learning fast, and I’m always excited for more lessons!

We contacted Ron about guitar lessons for our 5 year old son. Based on his recommendation we have started with piano lessons with the plan to move to guitar when he's a little older. Ron is doing a great job! He's extremely patient and skilled at connecting with and teaching young children starting out in music.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will discuss your music goals and what motivated you to look for music lessons. Lessons are typically taught at our inviting and comfortable home studio, but we do offer driving to lessons for $5 if within 10 minutes from the University of Tulsa.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The owner - Ron Curtis - graduated with honors (Magna Cum Laude) from TU with a degree in Music Education. Our instructors at Curtis Music Academy also have college education and courses in music.
