FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices vary from job to job. Cleaning houses I usually charge between $30-50.00 per room or area regardless of reoccurring or 1 time cleanings but I'm always up for renegotiation when reasonably necessary. Generally all that is required to show a reasonable need is the client asking if its possible. Only complication I have with renegotiating is that I knowingly almost always under pay myself but that's o.k.to because a lot of times I'm not doing what I do for the money. I do it just to help the people out.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally try to give all new clients a 50% discount as a way to show them that I honestly want to do business with them & that its not all about the money with me. I truly do like helping people. I guess you could say that I just play it by ear as far as any other processes go because in my opinion its ultimately up to the client on how they want you to do what they hired you for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I learn something new everyday. I make a point to. Even if it means I sit down with a dictionary & flip it open to a random page & read the 1st word I don't recognize. I went to the college of "Figure It Out Yourself" for the most part on a lot of things & the rest I learned through life experience.
