We, Jeff and Kara Garis, bought Five Star Painting of West Oklahoma City in 2018. We have been married since 2009 and have five children. We started this business as an opportunity to both work with local business owners and to serve local charities. We are excited to partner with families and homeowners in the greater Oklahoma City area in home improvement and community development. We are both life-long Oklahoma residents and are grateful for the opportunity to invest in the community. What a great experience with the team! They did an awesome job painting our home! Hugo was very attentive to specifics. He and his team accomplished them all. Our home is finally so bright and beautiful! What a transformation and done so quickly! My husband and I absolutely love it! Thank you!

These guys work fast, but Ive never seen painters this careful. We hired them to paint our houses wooden exterior, and I didnt find a single stray drop of paint. They also made several touch up passes over several days, often fixing spots that I didnt even see. They even fixed some wood rot for us without increasing the price. Jeff and his crew are the best. Well definitely be using them for all our future painting.

I had my kitchen cabinets painted. I was going from a darker wood to white painted cabinets. Process from start to finish was wonderful customer service. The initial meeting and bid of the job, the prep needed for the cabinets, all the way to the end where just a few touch ups were needed was great. I had another company paint the outside of my house and customer service level was a 2 compared to 5-Star painting. Will definitely use this company for future paint needs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We ask for a minimal down payment to hold your place on the schedule, asking for the rest only upon the completion of your project. We offer a 10% military or senior discount.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We provide a free estimate which involves the following:
An experienced estimator will come to your house and work to provide an accurate and detailed cost for accomplishing what you desire for you house. During this time we are sure to:
1. Understand your vision for your home.
2. Take accurate measurements and input these in our system that provides a final price down to the penny.
3. Explain our process for your home and what sets us apart from other painting companies.
4. Provide a detailed quote before we leave and explain what this covers, our warranty and what are the next steps.
Hiring us and completion of project:
1. We take a down payment to reserve a schedule date. You receive a color deck of paint options so you can begin making your color selections. We will not ask you for any money after this down payment until your job is completed.
2. You pick your colors (color consultation is available when needed) and we will apply samples for you to approve.
3. On the first day of project, the project manager will introduce you to the crew and do a walk-through explaining your desires for your home. You will never be expected to have to interact with or manage the crews. We understand that we are guests in your home and want to honor you and your family during the process. During this phase our goal is to bring your vision to life with as little an impact on your daily life as possible.
4. Once the crew is completed with your project, a manager will come by at your convenience to receive a final payment and to ensure that everything is completed to your satisfaction.
5. We accept final payment and you leave us a five star review!
