Jeff was absolutely great to work with. He showed up punctually and took on my small job, replacing my kitchen faucet, just as if it were a big "important" job. Of course it turned out a little bigger than anticipated, and of course it involved a trip to the hardware store. Jeff solved every problem with good humor, got everything working, and left the site tidy and clean. I will be calling on him again!

We hired Jeff in Aug 2026 based on his reviews in Thumbtack and have zero regrets. He completed exterior paint and soffit/fascia repair with precision and obvious pride in his work. And when I say “he” I mean Jeff was there (with one assistant) and hands on in every step. His bid was on point, he arrived when scheduled, was efficient and completed the job a touch early. Final payment reflected the original bid so no surprises. This is an easy recommendation and would not hesitate to hire his expertise again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I give 5 percent discount for Seniors and Military. Depending on the work, I charge $65 per estimate. My markup, overhead, profit is 20%. In many cases, customers should always plan on having extra funds available for the unforeseen "stuff" that happens once we get into the work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I can work from pictures for simple jobs but prefer to be on site to access the work if its more involved. Plus I need to evaluate the work environment for accessibility and safety.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I tokk all the trade classes in highschool. Went from a yard maintenance, to interior/exterior painting, the working for a new home contractor to do finish work and install doors and windows. I have had my own contracting businesses for a cummulative of over 20yrs. I also have a degree in Mechanical Engineering as a 2nd career.
