My daughter has been in piano lessons with Maestro music for just under 2 years, so we were very excited to get back to onsite lessons this month. This is the one and only activity I'm comfortable having her return to right now, and felt very good about how Maestro Music Academy has set things up to keep everyone safe while maintaining a great learning environment.
Maestro Music Academy's reply
Thank you Kendra for sharing about your experiences with us! I know your daughter struggled to make the switch to online lessons this spring and we're thrilled that we're able to open up again with safety precautions in place. Those include CDC guidelines as well as extra time between students, extra air flow, extra cleaning between teaching days, and a plastic barrier with tech enhancements.

Singing Lessons (for children or teenagers)

When we arrived for the initial consultation for singing lessons and my daughter saw the piano, she asked if she could take piano lessons first. So, we're now taking piano lessons from Bonnie. I find her to work very well with kids, my daughter is 8, and my daughter likes her and is happy too. She explains things clearly, gives praise when earned, and is helpful and pleasant to work with.

Thumbtack Customer

We love Maestro Music! My boys spent a week of summer camp learning to be composers, and are now taking weekly piano lessons. The teachers are patient, energetic, and fun, and the kids are already learning so much! Thank you Bonnie and Lee!
Maestro Music Academy's reply
Thank you Marissa! I enjoyed composing with your boys this summer and Lee just raves about their great enthusiasm during group classes. I can't wait to see what they'll do next on the piano!

Guitar Lessons

I was looking for guitar teachers on Thumbtack and Bonnie contacted me and helped me setup a trial class quickly. I liked Lee Hopkins in my first class and I enrolled to be a student. Bonnie school is great and she is very professional. I would recommend prospective music students to contact Maestro Music.
Maestro Music Academy's reply
Thank you Rangeen for the kind words! We look forward to seeing you at our next performance workshop.

Violin Lessons

This company was responsive and worked with us till we find a schedule that worked for them and us. They were willing to do semi private lesions. Their price was very reasonable, and they had their first lesson today. The girls seemed comfortable with the lesson, and had positive things to say about Hunter who was their instructor. We look forward to continuing to work with them long term. Thanks!!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Private lessons on piano, voice, flute, guitar, ukulele, violin, acting, and musical theatre tuition is based on lesson length. Group lessons provide students the opportunity to collaborate and learn in a small group setting. Class sizes are limited to allow for optimal instructor attention. All group lesson tuition packages include lesson books and study materials!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

New customers are invited to a trial lesson (see tuition section for more information). Once our teacher wows you with their affability and professionalism, you may save your prefered lesson time with a deposit. Then you'll start meeting with your teacher every week!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All staff are highly qualified and routinely perform on their own instruments. We offer continuing education to staff through webinars and seminars. One of the goals of Maestro Music is to grow our teachers in their own educational skills and support them, as often teachers in the public schools lack that support. Performing challenges us to become better musicians also!
