Don with DG Wedding Bliss was one of the highlights of our wedding day.
From our very first conversation, it was obvious that Don genuinely cared about getting to know us and creating a ceremony that reflected our relationship. He took the time to learn our story and made the entire ceremony feel incredibly personal instead of something scripted or generic.
He struck the perfect balance between heartfelt and hilarious. One moment our guests were laughing, and the next they were wiping away tears. It felt authentic, natural, and completely “us.”
After the ceremony, so many of our guests came up to tell us how much they loved Don and how it was one of the best wedding ceremonies they’d ever attended. That’s exactly what we wanted—a ceremony that people would actually remember—and Don delivered beyond our expectations.
He also made us feel completely comfortable standing in front of everyone. His calm presence and sense of humor helped settle our nerves and allowed us to really enjoy one of the most meaningful moments of our lives.

Don was the amazing to work with! When the previous person we hired to ordain our wedding had to cancel it was a relief to find Don on thumbtack. From scheduling to the day of the wedding Don was exceptionally thoughtful and organized. He came up with a script that was personalized to Ashley and I’s relationship. His demeanor and tone were exactly what I envisioned for our ceremony and he was so accommodating despite us running behind on schedule. And his wife Dodee was so helpful with having things organized as well. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat fee of $399 for Portland metro area, and negotiate charges for travel, rehearsals, elopements and such. I also work with couples on a tight budget to ensure a memorable wedding experience.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get together either in person, Skype, or phone, and discuss expectations. I work for you!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in Christian ministry since 1989. I have been happily married since 1993, and with the grace of God; I have the anointing to perform marriages, and give advice to couples of all ages.
