FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices are flat and posted up front, so you know your total before you book. Drive-Thru “I Do” starts at $125. Just the Two of Us (license signing) is $150. The Minute Chapel elopement starts at $225, and Simply Eloped, where we come to your home or private location, is $400. A deposit holds your date. It’s refundable or transferable if you give us at least 48 hours’ notice. Oregon requires two adult witnesses, so bring yours at no cost or add ours for $25 each. English, Spanish, and bilingual ceremonies cost the same. Extras like a 6-inch cake ($50), roses, cookies, or our Styled Backdrop ($75) are optional, and The Whole Moment bundle packs them all together for $199.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, you get your marriage license from any Oregon county clerk. It becomes valid three days after you apply, so plan around that. Next, you choose a package and book your date, which takes a couple of minutes, and a deposit holds the time. When you book, we ask how to say your names, what language you want the ceremony in, and any extras you’d like. On the day, arrive 10 minutes early with your license, your IDs, and your witnesses (or use ours). We marry you, sign the license, and send it to the county by priority mail, so filing it afterward is our job, not yours.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m ordained through Universal Life Church Ministries and dual-commissioned as a notary public in Oregon and Washington. Legal paperwork is my everyday work, and marriage licenses get the same care. I’m NNA certified, I hold two master’s degrees, and I’ve taught and facilitated at three universities. That means standing in front of people and speaking clearly at an important moment comes naturally to me. Our team includes a Spanish-speaking officiant, so we can perform ceremonies fully in Spanish or in both languages.
