I highly recommend Zak Tollefson.
Zak worked with the Mazamas to cover the second annual Portland Alpine Fest, which ran the 3rd-8th of November, 2014. Zak donated his time to the project, but you would have thought we were paying him the big bucks for the level of service and the product he provided. For most of that week he was shooting from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. and then editing until the wee hours of the morning. What resulted was a great deck of photos for us to use in marketing and advertising for the 2015 event, and a beautiful promo video. Zak captured the essence of the event while also giving good screen time to our partners and sponsors (to their great satisfaction!).
We so enjoyed working with Zak that we are going to bring him in again to create a marketing piece for a pilot program we are running in February 2015.

Zak has been an incredibly valuable asset to our team. We use him to shoot and edit whenever we get the chance. He always delivers on time and is always thinking outside of the box. We can't wait to work with him again on upcoming projects.

Zak Delivered! He took our original concept and made a wonderful video and presentation. Zak got everything done on schedule and made working with him a breeze. He went above and beyond while in production and post-production. 10/10 would work with him again.

Working with Zak was a great experience! He definitely impressed everyone with his level of professionalism while shooting our company launch video! He listened to everything we had to say, whether it made sense or not, he clearly understood exactly what we were looking for. The final edit blew us all away and exceeded our expectations!

It's easy to credit Zak as a hardworking videographer and editor which he's proven to be. I've had the opportunity to work along side him, for a client who was unsure of what boundaries to stay within. Zak's sense of confidence and creative execution topped the client's original concept, ending in a production design they were definitely pleased with.
