- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do. I have a single session price, a five session package, and group prices.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before I meet the dog, I will have a short conversation on the phone to pre-evaluate the situation and urgency. In some cases I give owners the first home work even before I meet the dog via video (Skype, Facetime, or Facebook-Video chat). During our first meeting I observe the dog, his existing emotional condition, and how he or she interacts with the owner. I observe and understand the dog's perspective and point of view (intuitive). I pay attention and respect the dog's concerns and listen to his "messages" which gives me a big "trauma" and "job" picture. I use positive and fun reinforcement techniques to establish a relationship based on trust and mutual respect.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified dog trainer with Animal Behavior College, CPDT, and Animal Reiki Master.
