Jeff did just what I expect of a contractor. He solved my problem and finished the job to completion. I had a glass shower door that was leaking. He did not simply attempt a solution and leave it at that. He identified the problems -- a mis-aligned shower door and a missing sweep. He took the time to properly align the shower door by removing it, replacing it, and professionally re-caulking. He also identified the proper part needed for the glass shower door sweep by contacting numerous glass companies. The part wasn't available for a few weeks, so he put in place the best possible temporary fix, and then returned, free of charge, to install the correct part. The shower door no longer leaks. The space looks great. He cleaned up nicely. Jeff is also a very nice guy who takes the time to get to know his clients. I have already recommended him to my neighbor for a large project.
I have used Troy for numerous jobs (hanging a ceiling fan; installing light fixtures, a water heater, dishwasher, new sink; a complete bathroom remodel, painting, plumbing repairs, tile work) and every project turned out perfectly. Troy is a conscientious worker and does a good job explaining the required steps and costs so there aren't any surprises.
Bathroom remodel...Joseph and the crew showed up on time every day...worked all day and cleaned up after they were done...reliable, dependable...I was very pleased with the final result
Greg helped us with a project that began DIY and slowly turned into a predicament. We took off our kitchen cabinet doors to stain them and were completely baffled at how to get them back on and look even with each other. Greg saved the day by graciously taking the time to give us a hand, attaching the cabinet doors back onto the cabinets. He also gave some good tips for future reference. He was polite and professional, timely and respectful. We will definitely be working with him again once we have bigger projects- like building a fence or tiling our shower. We highly recommend Greg, as he is just a person who genuinely enjoys helping people and working on projects.
John Cummings fixed the door jamb and repaired my screen door. I was worried that I needed to replace the entire door jamb and storm door, but John was able to repair it instead. John was nice to work with, did the job he said he would do and completed the work within the timeframe he estimated. I will hire John when I need work like this done in the future.
Brian responded very quickly and thoroughly to my posting for an urgent project at my parents house. He asked specific questions, which enabled him to come fully prepared to complete the project in a single visit which was really appreciated by my parents . He is professional and friendly.
We've hired Brian for numerous projects includong painting, to replace subflooring, and to replace fences on 60 rental units. He does quality work. He's very efficient and professional.
Thanks to Greg and his crew, Scott & Tom, when this batty PNW weather permits, we've been enjoying our bucolic back yard atop a fantastic deck for just about a year. The previous owners left behind a deathtrap excuse of a porch, so when as a 1st time home owner never having contracted work before I began the search, was rather overwhelmed. Greg was the *only* one to answer my 'thumbtack' inquiry and despite the distance from town, traveled out to assess and bid on the admittedly modest project. I can really thank his Second, Scott, for moving it forward, as it was on his insistence that what I envisaged could come in on budget with some tweaks. Working quickly and efficiently, this glorious addition was ready in a matter of days. Clearly the group compliments one another and gets down to business producing grand construction. However, there was some confusion as to the final product due to a rather ambiguous contract and miscommunication. I think G took a hit in making it right: no doubt his pride of workmanship could not allow for a cheap and tacky remedy to the issue. Guests both new and old were wowed by such a dramatic (and safe!) change to the backside of the home. And with good reason, we couldn't be happier with what they built and would recommend such talents.
