I'd been planning on getting 2/3 of the interior walls in our house repainted for a year. I found Refined Painting Services on Porch and Tristan was great! He also painted some of our neighbors' homes. He was at our house for about 2 weeks because it was a big job covering bright yellow/gold walls. He had to paint 20' cathedral ceilings, tiny 1" spaces between built-in fixtures, and a pretty tricky stair well. I am super picky about painting and he did an outstanding job! He took plenty of time to prep and do careful work. I was so impressed by his attention to detail: he caulked in all of the cracks and repaired all the damage to our walls, did not drip even one drop of paint on anything, replaced all of the vent covers/light fixtures/face plates afterwards, and even vacuumed the floors AND ceiling vents! He painted nice, straight lines and triple-checked that he did not miss anything. He was always on time and some days stayed extra late to get the work done. He even repainted a bathroom for us that had previously been painted very poorly by another painter and he made it look beautiful again! When I added on another room at the last minute, he graciously took it on and even went on his lunch break to pick up the new paint I wanted. He also included a free color consultation with a Sherwin-Williams designer, which was so fun. I will call him again in the future when we are ready to paint our exterior. Awesome painter and beautiful work!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I think how a painting contractor conducts himself as well as how he cares for his personal appearance, vehicle, tools, etc, correlates into how he will treat your home and possessions. Be observant of those things when deciding who to hire for your painting project, as they often determine the quality of work that they'll perform, as well as how much you can trust them.
