FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When it comes to my pricing, I want you to know that my primary goal is to accommodate your specific needs and budget. I pride myself on being flexible and am always willing to discuss and adjust to ensure a win-win situation. While I do have a standard pricing structure in place, I'm more than open to tailoring it based on the unique requirements of each project. Rest assured, any discounts or fees will be communicated transparently from the outset. Your satisfaction is my top priority, and I'm eager to work together to find the best financial arrangement for you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial Consultation: This is an informal chat, ideally over a cup of coffee or a phone call, where we discuss your vision, preferences, and any specific ideas you have in mind for the session. I want to get a feel for what you're looking to achieve and any particular moments or emotions you want to capture. Setting Expectations: After understanding your vision, I'll explain my approach, style, and any suggestions I might have. This is also when we'll talk logistics, like location options, wardrobe choices, and potential themes or props. The Photoshoot: While I have a wealth of experience to guide the session, I always ensure that the atmosphere is relaxed and fun. It's essential for me that you feel comfortable and at ease, as this naturally leads to the most genuine and captivating shots. Review & Selection: After our session, I'll edit and curate the best shots for you to review. We'll then sit down together (or virtually if more convenient) to go through the images. This is a collaborative process, and your input is invaluable. Delivery: Once we've selected your favorites and made any desired tweaks, I'll provide you with high-resolution digital copies. Physical prints, albums, or other formats are available upon request. Feedback & Future Sessions: I deeply value feedback. It not only helps me grow as a photographer but also ensures that I continue to meet and exceed your expectations in any future sessions. I genuinely hope that our first collaboration is just the beginning and that I can be your go-to photographer for all your future moments worth capturing. Building a lasting relationship with my customers means the world to me. I aim not just to provide a service, but to truly understand and bring your vision to life, ensuring that each photograph tells your unique story.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My journey with photography began in 2006, diving deep into the world of medium format film photography and darkroom development. This hands-on experience with film gave me an intimate understanding of the craft, from capturing moments to the intricacies of composing and developing each shot. Since then, I have transitioned to primarily shoot on full frame mirrorless formats. I have worked with DSLR (and now mirrorless formats) since 2010. I have traveled the world to over 30 countries shooting portraits and landscapes.
