Great experience from start to finish! They responded quickly with an estimate after visiting the site and got the job done efficiently. The pricing was fair, and the entire process was hassle-free. Totally hands-off for me, and the results were excellent. Highly recommend their services!

Edgar ticked a lot of boxes for me and I’m conclusion I’d use him again. I also talked to a few fence guys and most were ready to charge me over a grand to build a gate without even come to the
Property to quote on site. This was a pretty straight foward job that would take
Most experience fence guys 6 hours with some hip ups maybe 4 if everything went smooth. From the beginning Edgar didn’t even mention $& and just wanted to give me a free quote which I really liked though I was a little hesitant at first only cause of the way he just kept asking for my address. With the times we live in. My fist reaction is why do you need my address are you going to price me higher if it’s a nice neighborhood, case the place etc etc so I probed a bit and was like oh do you plan to come buy to give me a quote? He was like yes. Edgar I’d just suggest leading with asking if you can setup a time to come buy to quote the project on site verse just asking for a address with little explanation.
Of course Edgar turned out to be the most honest/transparent of the bunch. Material was at cost with receipt provided and his and his dads labor charges were more than reasonable. He built the gate for 1/2 what some of the other quotes were for.
Edgar is young and still refining his skill set but he knows what he’s doing and made some great suggestions like a metal gate frame kit.
Overall, I was mostly satisfied with how the gate came out though one thing still bothers me a bit but it’s at least partly my fault. So my original gate had a arch which I asked him to replicate. This
Was an additional charge. At some point it became clear to Edgar he couldn’t do a full arch with the frame kit as he’d hit the top rail. Okay but instead of discussing options he did a half arch which of course I wasn’t happy with. He said he still had to charge me some but I would have said not to proceed so just suggest checking next time. For solution I asked for a flat top and if he could lay a top frame board on top. The frame board required the fencing planks be flush with the top metal frame rail and a 2x4 then mounted on that. He told me it wouldn’t the. Be flush with the other fencing as he’d have to cut the fence boards flush. Looking for solutions I mistakenly told him to just move the gate mounting positions up. This then left a gap underneath which looks funny and would allow some dogs to escape. In restrospect it became clear the correct solution would have been to drop all the planks down flush with the top rail then adjust mounting as needed. This wouldn’t have required the top to be cut or left a gap at the bottom. This would have been more time consuming as all the boards would have had to come back off but I would have been willing to cover cost to get a perfect gate. As is it came out okay but does have that one flaw. I’m not sure if Edgar didn’t think of this solution or just wanted to get out of there since daylight was dissipating. I hope it was lack of experience cause it’s always better to come back and discuss costs to get the job right.
I’d still higher Edgar again despite this as I said he checked a lot of boxes for me and I recognize not everything goes perfect and nooone hits a home run all the time. He’s a good guy, efficient and will fairly charge you.
