"As someone who hasn’t worked out often in the past, I was nervous about going to the gym and intimated by the equipment. Darin has patience and a super friendly demeanor that helped me conquer my fears quickly! He’s knowledgeable of what workouts need to be done for targeting muscle groups and burning fat. He also has helped me to be more conscious of my food choices. I would recommend Darin for anyone!"

"I highly recommend Travis as a trainer. As a business owner, I have learned to find the best and trust them to do their job. Travis is an expert at personal training and he proven to me that I trust him implicitly to do his job. I am 57 and have worked with Travis for almost two years. When I started I was in terrible shape and overweight. I am actually heavier now, but that's because I lost many inches of fat and replaced it with lean muscle. Follow his instruction and you will get results. For instance, I do not like to run and we never do more than 5 minutes of any type of aerobics. I ran for 45 minutes recently (chasing a runaway dog) and barely broke a sweat. When I started with Travis I could not walk just 1 mile without terrible back pain. Travis starts by making sure he is clear in understanding a person's goal(s). He evaluates the person's physical condition then constructs a specific long-term plan to reach and maintain those goals. Travis lays a foundation so a person can continue to safely and rapidly build upon that foundation. I seldom make recommendations and take other people's recommendations with a grain of salt. I recommend Travis implicitly because I know Travis, having worked with him and experienced far greater results than I ever imagined. Phil Brewer President Alpha Environmental Services, Inc."

"I have been a patient of Corey Walden’s for approximately 3 years. I work out at the same gym where Corey trains and works with clients. When I first heard about the whole NKT stuff, I was skeptical. However, I had tennis elbow that was really affecting my workouts. My trainer recommended speaking to Corey, and about 5 minutes later my tennis elbow was remarkably better. Soon, after faithfully performing the exercises he gave me, my tennis elbow was completely healed. What is most impressive, however, is how Corey helped my headaches. I have suffered from headaches since I was about 10 years old. When I got to my late forties, the headaches occurred about 5 days a week, and sometimes I would go a month with a headache. I went to just about every neurologist in Portland, and to experts in other parts of the country. Tests, drugs, experimental medications; nothing worked. After working with Corey for a year, I became almost completely headache free. I cannot speak to anyone else’s results or to what extent Corey may or may not be able to help others; all I can say is after 50 years of almost constant headaches, thousands and thousands of dollars, many many tests, and every drug in the spectrum, seeing Corey got rid of my headaches. My quality of life was completely changed, and it only cost a few hundred dollars. Just amazing! Phillip Brewer"

"243. The number flashed on the scale, staring me right in my bewildered face. I stepped off the scale, tapped it with my big toe, and stepped back on. 243. I stepped off the scale and shook my head in bewilderment. How did I let this happen? How did I slip this far? I had thought my face looked round mere moments ago in that family photo, but 243…this was a disaster. A disclaimer… I have struggled with my weight and body image my entire life. I am not, nor was I ever, the most athletic individual. I swam competitively for a number of years, and I took a number of dance classes in college, but athletic is an adjective I would never use to describe my physical ability. Back to 243... From that moment on, I made myself a promise. I would change. I would take my insecurities and confront them head on. I would become athletic. Bolstered by this determination, I began the tedious process of vetting a gym. At the time, I was working downtown at Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, so finding a gym close to work was crucial. After some preliminary online research, I grabbed my co-worker for moral support and trekked down the block to Gold’s Gym. Shannon, my fearless cohort, was already a member of Gold’s Gym and urged me to join after our tour of this gleaming tower of physical perfection. Needless to say, I signed on the dotted line. I was a member of a gym. It was time to shed the pounds and increase my self-determined self-worth. I adopted a new mantra: Your dreams only work if you do. The next day I had scheduled my free fitness assessment with someone named Brittany. I arrived, changed into my workout clothes, and checked in at the front desk, nervous, anxious, and ready to run out the door. Seconds later, I was greeted by a girl in a red trainer’s t-shirt with her name printed across her heart and black workout shorts. She stuck out her hand, shook mine, and took me upstairs to take my measurements and learn more about my fitness and personal goals. Little did I know that this fitness assessment would be more than just assessing my then lack of physicality. It would be the foundation and formation of a friendship and mutual support system. We clicked instantly. Brittany possessed the right amount of sass and drive to whip me into shape and encourage me every step of the way. Immediately after the assessment I signed up for three months of personal training, twice a week with Brittany. Fast-forward nine months later. I was strong. I was confident. I was athletic. Brittany had completely changed my life for the best. I was at my gym 6 days a week, sometimes twice a day before and after work, taking boot camp classes, swimming, lifting, and doing yoga. Brittany had taught me that physical fitness was more than just lifting weights, it was nutrition, it was mental health, it was finding an inner balance. She taught me that fitness is a journey, with twists and turns along the way. That we have good days and bad, and we can assess each as it comes and not stray from the goals ahead. She helped me realize my potential and pushed me to meet it. The moment I met Brittany my life changed. Through her friendship, she helped me discover that I could do anything I set my mind to. Your dreams only work if you do, so it’s time to keep working."

"I have been training with Jake for about 4 months. I can say he is the best trainer I've had. And I've been through a few. What I can say about Jake: I feel like he's got my back. Any trainer can push you to work hard and make you do a hard workout. What I like about Jake is that he can push me but knows when I should also pull back and rest. He is wonderful with stretches! He is also very fit and a good coach. The two qualities together make for an exceptionally effective trainer. His passion for fitness shows. Jake is also a good communicator. That doesn't mean he's always chatty or got a slick front but he's very good at reading his clients and seeks to understand and listen to you. He's a good read of people. I also don't feel judged by Jake like I have with other trainers. He's a super great guy who treated my initial difficulties working out with empathy, compassion and flexibility. With Jake, I had come back to working out again after a physical setback and had put on the most weight I'd ever gained. I am also a woman in her fifties and weight is the hardest to get off than previously for me. In three months he's helped me reduce all my measurements! And last but not least, Jake is a professional. He shows it in his voice, conversation and his attitude. Do not look any further for a trainer! Jake is the best."
