Introduction: I have enjoyed teaching on many varied topics and in a variety of venues, from homeschooling our children to teaching laser theory as a field service engineer and teaching the bible at my church.
I especially love physics and math yet also enjoy philosophy, history and politics. Whether working with children or adults, I love to teach.

I am pleased that I selected Roy to tutor me because he is able to meet me where I am in my learning process. A successful tutor should not only know how to teach the subject in an accessible way, but they should be able to listen in order to understand their student's challenges and strengths. Roy is successful in meeting all of these criteria. Roy's applied knowledge of math and his ability to explain it in plain language is easing my longtime anxiety about these concepts. I highly recommend him.
