As the house manager, Rafi started working for the celebrity family back in 2016. His travels throughout  SE Asia, Europe, Middle East along with his background living in Los Angeles has given him the amazing skills to cook all types of cuisine. Rafi has a very holistic approach to cuisine, in which he incorporates very fresh organic ingredients and combines it with his knowledge in ethnic cuisine along with his background in nutrition to provide the most uplifting experience. He cooked for the family of four many days out of the week and also provided service for 20+ people dinner parties on some occasions.  His honesty, dependability and knowledge surpassed the family’s expectations. Highly recommended!!!

Rafi and I worked as catering colleagues for local events in the Los Angeles/ Newport Beach area. He is very talented when it comes to working in the kitchen, very reliable and one of those employees that acclimates well in any setting. His professional demeaner and his hospitable personality was a joy to work around and I highly recommend him to help you or your family when needing meal prep, special holiday dinner service or cooking/nutrition lessons.

Rafi really knows what he’s doing! He has been cooking for my family for over 3 months now, and we definitely feel the healthiest we have ever been. His weekly meal prep actually saves our family a significant amount of money based on our typical food waste plus the time spent eating at restaurants. Overall, highly recommended!! Rafi has been cooking for my family of 5 for the past month, and he has really changed the way we eat! We were very skeptical at first when hiring a personal chef to meal prep for us on a weekly basis because of the cost, but on average, we have been saving money by not going out as frequently and throwing money on food waste. He has a vast knowledge of different cuisines so his weekly menus are always something to look forward to. Thank you Rafi for keeping my family on track and helping us stay healthy!   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    All of my services are subject to an hourly rate + cost of groceries. Note, the hourly rate depends on the number of persons and the provided service. On average, a meal prep service may cost anywhere from $30-50/hr.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I received a Bachelors of Science in Clinical Nutrition and have worked directly under world renown dietitians and sports nutritionist. Overtime, I found myself enjoying the creative outlet of culinary arts having worked as a Private Chef for a celebrity family based in Los Angeles, California.
