Introduction: I truly care that your computer works, and works well. The fact you need a computer for work, home, play, relaxation and communication is important to me. I will in all cases strive to complete your computer in a timely and least expensive manner as possible. I pickup and deliver your computer at NO extra charge because I believe in service. People, places and things. People; the people are what the whole thing is about everything starts and ends there. I know computers are a pain in the butt and far from being user friendly, in fact I find the term just silly, I have other adjectives however; silly will have to do. People are what use computers, people are what need computers, people are what need help with computers, I would say people are the most important part of any endeavor, without them you could truly ask the question, who cares”? Places; I am very lucky to go to many locations that I may never be able to go if it were not for my profession, some are dark and lonely while others are exciting and interesting but no matter, always a treat. Things; I am very satisfied taking things that do not function or are having issues and correcting the problem. I often liken it to a Chess match, I will win, because I believe I will win, and because after all a computer is just a thing.

Computer Repair

I was absolutely thrilled with Ron! He did a great job. My laptop's hard drive had to be replaced. It took less than 24 hours, was very inexpensive, and he actually spoke English rather than "computer". I will use him again if I have any further needs for computer repairs.

I think we’ve all had that heart-stopping moment where suddenly your screen goes blank and you pray to whatever tech gods there are to fix it. Ron is one of those tech gods. My laptop was having some hardware issues, and he responded within an hour to my SOS on Thumbtack. He drove out to my house and took a preliminary look at my computer (in proper PPE I might add) and then took it with him to properly diagnose. I received a call within a couple hours as to what Ron believed the issue to be and that he thought the computer was worth saving. He didn’t promise the moon (there was a chance it would lose the touchscreen capability), but he was confident he could otherwise repair it. Fast forward 3 days and the laptop was hand-delivered to me at school, with the touchscreen intact and back to full functionality. It’s been over a week and so far everything has been back to normal with laptop. Thanks for the help and the dad jokes Ron!

Ron was awesome and was the only one in town that was able to replace my computer screen. He came to my house and picked up the screen and replaced it in a few hours and then brought it back to me repaired and looking new as ever! It was easy, quick, and so user friendly. I would use him again and again!

PC triage was excellent! Responded almost immediately (on a Sunday no less) and was very communicative. He came took the computer, and had it fixed within two days, all the while saving a handful of files we thought we had lost.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    As a rule I do not charge by the hour, I wouldn't want to pay someone by the hour to watch a green line go across a screen. So I charge by the job, most jobs I have done before so I have a good idea what it takes to do the job.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I pick-up and deliver it's part of my service, so the first things I need are a phone number and an address. We decide on a time and I show up to ether do the work or pick-up the computer depending on what needs to be done.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    My education and training mainly come from 60 years of living, sure I went to school to learn computers sadly what I really learned was how to talk computereze, what I say to that is, who cares. I do not talk that way so what was the point? I fix things, it's not rocket science there is no hocus pocus, I like what I do and I do not have to act like some kind of know it all.
