I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my daughter, so she hasn't had this cooking class yet, but Ms. Hirayama was very prompt with her responses and I received gift certificate in plenty of time for Christmas.

I took Thai and Japanese cooking classes with Noriko, and both were very enjoyable. Noriko is personable, organized, and attentive to details. Explanations of ingredients and procedures were thorough, hands-on time was satisfactory, and the setting comfortable. The crown jewel of my experiences was the wonderful food! I enjoyed beautiful meals and conversation with fellow students, and was able to replicate the dishes at home. This is a testament to the well-written recipe procedures, along with Noriko's instruction. I will be back!

Noriko Hirayama presents an elegant cooking experience. She is friendly, has a very clean and efficient working environment and works with you through the entire process of making a variety of dishes--a full menu each session. All food that each person cooks is theirs to take home.or join fellow students in her lovely dining room. I have taken other cooking classes, but Noriko is by far the most organized, uses truest ingredients to the cuisine and teaches very closely to the ethnicity. She is extremely knowledgeable with extensive cooking schooling in Thailand. She is a gem.

I have taken about four classes at Miso Magic. A couple of times I had friends join me and we really enjoyed sharing the time together. Not only did we learn to make some wonderful and delicious dishes, but then we sat down and shared the fruits of our labor by tasting everything we had made during class. We even had leftovers to take home and enjoy eating later with our families. I plan to round up a few friends and have another adventure with Noriko and try another one of her classes. The setting is so comfortable in her lovely home.
