When You're Not There Pet Care

    (18 reviews)

I have worked in the veterinary field from 1999 - 2014 as a Veterinary Technician Assistant and as an Administrator. I have worked in Feline Only Veterinary practices for 7 of those years and am adept at handling, caring for and administering medications for many small mammals. My specialty is feline care and small "pocket pets" including hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits and hedgehogs. I have over 34 years experience and skills working with dogs; both big and small. Due to health issues of my own, I care for the smaller, less gregarious dogs. Large and excitable dogs are handled by back up Independent Contractors. I love bonding with both my clients and their pets. We become like family. I treat your pets as I do my own. I can "read" pets very well and try to interact with them on their individual level of comfort. I respect your home and your pets while I am contracted for services. It pleases me to have happy clients and pets!

  • Magical Creatures

    (16 reviews)

I combine current theories in brain and behavioral science with my love of dogs. I want training to be fun, positive and productive. I also work to get results quickly. I can usually give a client the tools they need in one or two sessions. I love seeing the change in dogs as they start to get the training. Training isn't about getting a dog to do a behavior; is about getting a dog to enjoy doing a behavior. It should always be a fun and positive experience for the dog and their people.

  • Got It Covered Pet Services

    (9 reviews)

When it comes to pet care, there are many options. However, I am truly passionate about animals. No job is too small, no pet too small. I make sure that your dog or cat is happy and healthy when they are in my care. I love animals because of all the love they give me. It's a win-win situation! I enjoy every aspect of working with pets. I find it very rewarding. Arriving to work and always being greeted with excitement is great. Even if they are only happy to see me because they know they are going to be fed-ha! I also like being outside, so dog walking is the perfect job for me.

  • Pet Crew LLC

    (7 reviews)

Pet Crew llc is licensed, bonded and insured. We have been in business since 2003. Our goal is to take care of your pets the way you would. We have long term pet clients that I have known from the time they were young into their senior years. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is the reception I get when I arrive at the clients house. If dog kisses were money I would be a millionaire.

  • Brenda's Good Dogs - Portland

Brenda's Good Dog's is now also in Portland! I've provided screenshots of client's reviews in another reputable business profile. Please check them out! I come from a family who specializes in canine behavior and have just over 5 years of pet sitting, boarding and training experience. The owner, Brenda is currently, personally training and certifying me to build up the Portland branch of Brenda's Good Dogs. Over the years I've worked with small and large breeds, from Maltese, basset hound and shiba inu to labs, pit mixes and more. I enjoy getting outdoors to practice good leash walking technique with your dog and a play time/positive reinforcement training to grow a good relationship with them. I am very passionate about proper pet care and enjoy meeting new animals. I've also fostered cats through a pet supply store's foster program and found permanent homes for many them. Growing up, my mom and I volunteered with an animal-human bonding program in my hometown, Knoxville Tennessee. Our own family Dachshunds were registered and trained to accompany us to nursing homes for visits with seniors a couple times a week. I really appreciate how my life has been enriched by all the furry friends I've cared for over the years, and I look forward to helping to care for yours!
