FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with clients before we shoot together, whether in person for coffee the week before or as an extension of the shoot itself, to get a feel for different personalities and to establish relationships. I know there can be a little tension when you get in front of a camera, so I try to minimize that as much as possible.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out as a second shooter for a friend who photographs weddings, years ago in Vermont. I still help others with big events sometimes, but I've since developed my own style and love having the independence to work with clients on my own to create beautiful images.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for someone you feel you really click with. Finding the right photographer will lead to more natural looking photos with much more positive energy.
