My clients value laughter + quirkiness over posed + stylized. They value experiences, as well as the legacy of a photo.
Some of my competitors may be more affordable, but I will go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable and have FUN during our shoot.

Kristi was fabulous. She arrived on time and captured our family in pictures. She took any pictures we asked, she suggested ideas for pictures. She did not rush us at all; and when I saw the pictures they were perfect- exactly what we wanted. I would definitely recommend Kristi!

My husband and I decided to have a small, intimate wedding with immediate family. When deciding what parts of a wedding were important to us, we agreed that we needed to find a special photographer to capture the day. Luckily, a friend of my sister’s recommended we reach out to Kristi. Even though she lived across the country, Kristi agreed to make the trip to DC for the wedding. From the very beginning Kristi was extremely kind, warm, and responsive. After we contacted her, she set up a video conference the very next day to get to know us. She was extremely interested in understanding our vision for the wedding. We could tell she was invested in us as a couple and that she wanted to ensure our wedding day photos met all of our needs. She had us fill out a comprehensive survey asking about everything from our love story, to what kind of music we like, to who should be included in our photos. Even though Kristi was located in Oregon, she was in regular contact with us. On the day of the wedding, Kristi showed up early, played music we said we liked in the questionnaire, and felt like part of the family. Family members were impressed with Kristi and commented several times about her kindness and professionalism. To top it all off, Kristi took the MOST GORGEOUS photographs. We were elated with the way everything turned out and how she captured our wedding day. Thank you Kristi for being an all-around amazing person and fantastic photographer!

She is an amazing communicator and works with you the whole way to ensure you get the most out of your session. What you need to realize about Kristi and her work is that your not just getting stunning photos! You also get this amazing memory of creating them with her! My husband and I worked with Kristi for both our engagement and wedding photos, and she was absolutely incredible for both! I highly recommend her.Shes so thoughtful and kind (for our engagement session she brought along our favorite snacks and champagne, and for our wedding she surprised us by taking tons of cute Polaroid pictures and gave them all to us with a sweet card at the end of our day!). She really went above and beyond consistently. Our family was really impressed by her too. And the photos came out SO well!I think she has a great talent for making people feel comfortable during photo shoots, which was perfect for us because my husband and I both arent the most comfortable on camera.Shes super easy to work with - we were admittedly pretty busy and tough to reach leading up to our wedding and she was really professional and understanding and throughout. Im so glad we chose her for our wedding!! If youre thinking about booking with her, go for it!
