Introduction: I’m SO excited you’re here! My name is Kristi, and I am a free-spirited wandering soul with a deep passion for travel, adventure, human connection, and co-creating through this art form. I love both the mountains AND the ocean, so I spend the majority of my year living in a small surf town in Mexico, and the rest of the year traveling around the Pacific Northwest documenting love stories & special seasons of life for others. There are many layers to my joyful existence, but getting to capture couples in love is something that brings me *the most* joy.
My favorite thing in the world is getting to know my clients on a deeper level, so that I can capture your elopement, wedding, or current season of life in a way that feels true to you. My clients almost always end up becoming lifelong friends, and that’s something I really cherish about this business of mine. It connects me to people that become family :)
On the day of your wedding day or during your session, my hope is that I will feel more like a family friend rather than a vendor. My superpower is creating an atmosphere that feels fun, comfortable and grounding.

My husband and I worked with Kristi for both our engagement and wedding photos, and she was absolutely incredible for both! I highly recommend her.Shes so thoughtful and kind (for our engagement session she brought along our favorite snacks and champagne, and for our wedding she surprised us by taking tons of cute Polaroid pictures and gave them all to us with a sweet card at the end of our day!). She really went above and beyond consistently. Our family was really impressed by her too. And the photos came out SO well!I think she has a great talent for making people feel comfortable during photo shoots, which was perfect for us because my husband and I both arent the most comfortable on camera.Shes super easy to work with - we were admittedly pretty busy and tough to reach leading up to our wedding and she was really professional and understanding and throughout. Im so glad we chose her for our wedding!! If youre thinking about booking with her, go for it!

Kristi was fabulous. She arrived on time and captured our family in pictures. She took any pictures we asked, she suggested ideas for pictures. She did not rush us at all; and when I saw the pictures they were perfect- exactly what we wanted. I would definitely recommend Kristi!

My husband and I decided to have a small, intimate wedding with immediate family. When deciding what parts of a wedding were important to us, we agreed that we needed to find a special photographer to capture the day. Luckily, a friend of my sister’s recommended we reach out to Kristi. Even though she lived across the country, Kristi agreed to make the trip to DC for the wedding. From the very beginning Kristi was extremely kind, warm, and responsive. After we contacted her, she set up a video conference the very next day to get to know us. She was extremely interested in understanding our vision for the wedding. We could tell she was invested in us as a couple and that she wanted to ensure our wedding day photos met all of our needs. She had us fill out a comprehensive survey asking about everything from our love story, to what kind of music we like, to who should be included in our photos. Even though Kristi was located in Oregon, she was in regular contact with us. On the day of the wedding, Kristi showed up early, played music we said we liked in the questionnaire, and felt like part of the family. Family members were impressed with Kristi and commented several times about her kindness and professionalism. To top it all off, Kristi took the MOST GORGEOUS photographs. We were elated with the way everything turned out and how she captured our wedding day. Thank you Kristi for being an all-around amazing person and fantastic photographer!

Kristi is such a uniquely genuine person to work with. She takes the time to get to know her clients, curate the experience to be personal, and deliver incomparably special photos! When I look at Kristi’s photos of us, I think of the day and the adventure - in addition to the love & playfulness she captured between us.

She is an amazing communicator and works with you the whole way to ensure you get the most out of your session. What you need to realize about Kristi and her work is that your not just getting stunning photos! You also get this amazing memory of creating them with her! We hired her for an anniversary shoot and I am so happy we did!Kristi is kind, respectful, a joy to be around, knowledgeable, and so very talented. But her work will tell you that!!
