Taras went above and beyond in helping me propose to my fiancée. I wanted to surprise her at a waterfall without crowds, so we planned a sunrise hike. Taras agreed to do the hike as well and arrived at the waterfall before we did, posing as another hiker. Taras captured the proposal moments beautifully and led us through many backgrounds and poses afterwards. Taras was extremely friendly and returned the edited photos to us very quickly so that we could share them with friends and family!

My Fiancé and I had the pleasure of working with Taras to capture our engagement photos. From all the reviews I read and the images they share on their thumbtack profile, I knew their work was amazing. But I don’t believe the reviews or images do them justice. The experience of working with them was a pleasure, it was organized, insightful, and come our session Taras was on time and came prepared with poses and ideas. I don’t take photos often if at all and I found this to be extremely helpful and a stress reliever. I would also like to mention that on the day of our photos Taras was mindful of the weather and constantly asked if we needed breaks for water or anything else. By the end of the session Taras made sure we knew what to expect in regard to wait time and what the process of selecting our photos would be like. If you are going to hire a photographer I highly recommend Taras and Alla. We had a great time working with Taras and our final photos turned out amazing (the photos speak for themselves).

This was my partner and I’s first real professional photography shoot (besides senior photos forever ago), so we both felt a little silly at first being in front of a camera. But Taras was so friendly, so professional, and really, really helped to make us feel comfortable and confident for our photos. He got us laughing and eased us right into it. They turned out better than I could have imagined, and it was very difficult to choose which ones to keep because they were all so great! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience getting photos taken by Taras. He was able to capture geniune smiles and gave us a variety of prompts. Taras and Alla were above all a joy to work with. Me and my now Fiance Chloe got engaged at Ecola State Park on the Oregon Coast. Unexpectedly the weather turned (as it does in Oregon) to 20 mph winds, and extreme downpour of rain near the cliffside. Even still, Taras and Alla captured some truly beautiful shots, and even provided umbrellas, smiles, and helped posed us (sometimes awkward) to capture in-love souls. I thank them both for helping pick the exact spot to shoot, the time based on sun position, the poses, and the end results speak for themselves. The price, timing, responsiveness and everything else was fantastic as well in my book. Thanks you two for all you do for couples in love, and for the photography community.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step will be to set a call. After the call we send photography form to a client, also deposit is needed. The next step will be the photo/video shoot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Taras Yasniy has Multimedia Journalist Diploma from Clackamas Community College. Also, Yasniy Media was awarded many time by Weddison Award, The Knot and WeddingWire.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Taras started as a photoshop editor in photo studio. Alla, his wife began as a second shooter for Taras in the very beginning. Currently they have their own clients, but also work together on bigger projects.
