About
We don't haggle on price. But... we don't 'nickel and dime' customers in the middle of a job by adding on extra costs. Every once in a while there is an unforeseen cost (usually water/mold related) that must be added because it could not be determined until a project is under way, but otherwise we absorb the cost of the typical small stuff. Our original price is usually the final price.

Hired on Thumbtack

We just moved into a new home and wanted to bring life to our downstairs living areas. After getting contacted by Jackson Painting once we started a thumbtack project, we invited Chad to come to our home to give a quote. He was there within a day and got started on the project as soon as we were ready. The project included paint to our living room, dining room, kitchen, family room, upstairs hallway, and our baby's room. We had some changes mid project - changing a paint color - and Chad was great at accommodating us and making sure the project proceeded smoothly! The painters took great care of our home and our our rooms looks wonderful! Throughout the project, Chad had excellent communication with us. We highly recommend Chad and his crew!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Even in painting... you get what you pay for. If a quote seems too good to be true... it likely is. The equation is quite basic in painting estimates: cost = materials + labor + profit. Since most people work in order to make a living (profit), a really low quote usually means inferior paint products are being used (materials) and/or inexperienced, sloppy methods (labor) are in practice.
