- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I originally wanted to specialize in renewable energy and completed a program in college to get started. That involved basic electrical training and solar panel installation. I then had an opportunity to learn plumbing from a Master Plumber who also had been a General Contractor for a long time. And I did property maintenance for several years for apartment complexes that basically gave me the opportunity to learn nearly everything else in residential building repair, maintenance, and renovation.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Single property owners, Property Management Companies, Realtors, fellow contractors, restaurant owners, the list goes on. I don't discriminate on race, gender, creed, or sexual orientation as long as no one is trying to change me, we are good.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do some research on what you want done and use a contractor pricing guide to reference.
