- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The general gist of things would go like this: We would chat to make sure things sound like a good fit, go over any specific needs you have. If all sounds good then we would find a time to meet in person before you go out of town so you can show me the space or I can meet your pets, and we arrange a key swap for when you leave and get back.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had house sat in the past for a few people here and there but more recently I've been housesitting almost full time. I gave up my rental here in portland and traveled to Bali for 5 weeks. When I got back it was just about summer time a friend needed a housesitter so I sat for them and their cat for 6 weeks. After that I just kept housesitting, one place after the next, for the rest of the summer.
