The name Sukkha, is derived from the combination of two meaningful words that truly embody our design philosophy and company mission.
Sukha: a Sanskrit word which translates as a deep and lasting state of happiness, ease, or bliss.
Sukkah: a hut like structure often made from natural materials. This temporary dwelling represents the fact that all existence is fragile and is used in celebration of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot (“the festival of shelters”) which is a time to appreciate our physical homes and bodies.
Sarah Bronstein is a highly qualified interior designer with over 10 years experience. Starting out designing commercial workspaces, she found her true passion in residential projects largely due to the more personal client relationships this type of design organically cultivates. As a LEED certified designer her work is focused around sustainability and intentional living; she is a “tiny living” enthusiast and considered to be a small space specialist.
