I started painting custom residential homes in the early 1990's. Basic exterior and interior repaints were my main business. I wanted an edge on my competitors so I focused on specialized decorative finishes. I have been trained in decorative wall and cabinet finishing by two recognized faux finishing schools in the U.S.. I take pride in offering my clients the latest in green finishing technology.
Ultra low and zero VOC waterborne materials makes your project easier to enjoy with minimal off gassing and airborne odors. With several samples to view in my portfolio, we're able to dramatically turn your interior walls, ceilings, cabinetry or furniture into the most current desirable looks.
I really like meeting different people through the various types of work I do. Most jobs last a week or two so it lets me work in different areas and meet new people.
I also enjoy seeing the happiness in people once the job is complete and they are totally satisfied.

Mike painted our kitchen cabinets as well as multiple rooms in our house. The cabinets look brand new - we cannot believe what a difference it would make and we attribute the transformation to Mike's incredible work and attention to detail! His communication and punctuality were stellar - we always knew what to expect. His prices are very reasonable for the quality you will receive - he goes above and beyond what anyone else will do for you. We completely trust Mike and his work and are excited for our next project. New cabinets are ridiculously expensive - I highly recommend that you contact Mike and have him makeover your existing cabinets - you will not be disappointed. This was by far my best experience with a painter!!

Mike is very knowledgeable, friendly, and does high quality work. Not to mention, his prices are very reasonable. He told me the schedule and stuck to it, which really is a rarity right now with subcontractors. He painted our kitchen cabinets and walls. The cabinets turned out beautifully. I already have one friend who will be calling him to look at her cabinets.

Michael was quick to respond to my furniture repair request. He did a great job and was always very prompt and informative. Ended up I had a dining table I needed fixed and painted so he's working on that for me now. I highly recommend him tfor your repair or painting needs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For interior painting I charge $2 per square foot. In regards to cabinet finishing my base price depends on the finish which can range between $20-$40 per linear foot. These price estimates include all materials.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet in person with clients to discuss the work they are interested in doing. It is helpful to view the area and surfaces in need of finishing so I can provide an accurate estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am trained and accredited in decorative painting, color theory, and cabinet and furniture finishing.
