Layne is a gifted massage therapist, and simply one of the best I have ever worked with. As a massage therapist myself, I have very high standards for the therapists that I see personally, and Layne has always exceeded those standards. She is attentive, present, compassionate, nurturing, deeply intuitive, and incredibly skillful. Further, she works with the whole person body, mind, and spirit. She helped me overcome chronic tension and holding patterns by not only working with my physical body, but also helping me to see the emotional components. By making those connections, between emotions and the physical body, years of pain and tension were released, and I experienced a greater sense of freedom in my body. I highly recommend her!

Layne has been my massage therapist for six years. She has helped me with my TMJ and tendinitis, amongst many other aches and pains. She also provides alternative therapies such as cupping and gua sha and makes excellent recommendations for at home self-care. I drive over an hour to see her - she is worth it! I look forward to our monthly sessions and am grateful for her services, knowledge, and warmth.

Five stars isn't enough to praise Layne's techniques! She welcomes you, asks you about what your body is craving and how she can help. Layne is compassionate and professional. Her massages are not a one-size-fits all approach. She's very intuitive, but wants you to share your personal insights so she can make your time with her the most effective. I first saw Layne after I was hit by a car while riding my bike. Her treatments really helped. I love her cranial sacral methods!! Her treatment room is very calming as well. Give her a holler and schedule your massage today. She's awesome!

Layne has been my massage therapist regularly for several years. She is intuitive and therapeutic with her treatments in a caring and soulful way. I have experienced relaxation, deep tissue, myofascial release, and cranial sacral massage with her. She knows my body and its reactive ways and stays focused and attentive to what I need in each treatment. I highly recommend her!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Always. Many and varied. Some 'new' techniques are quite helpful, others not so much. I fulfill and often exceed my licensing requirements for continuing education with techniques that are helpful and my clients will enjoy.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I know this sounds corny, but it really is a calling for me.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly I do therapy, not spa-type massage. Although I do have a few clients who want relaxation (Swedish) massage, the majority of my clients enjoy the numerous techniques designed to help them release stress, ease pain, increase range of motion, and reawaken their sense of well-being.
