- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on an hourly basis with a 3 hour minimum within 30 minutes of SE Portland and 4 hour minimum outside of that radius. If you live outside of the Portland Metro Area such as the Oregon Coast, I can customize a quote for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Professional Organizer (CPO) from the National Association for Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO) and also hold two NAPO Specialty Certificates in Residential Organizing and Workplace Productivity.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Most Professional Organizers will tell you that have been organizing for most of their lives which is true for me as well. I have always been organized except for those few years as a teenager when my mother actually bought me a coat rack for all the clothes on my floor! I started organizing friend's closets and kitchens and then had the opportunity to work with someone when I lived in San Francisco who was completely overwhelmed and wanted to pay me for my services. That initial job lead me to NAPO - the National Association of Professional Organizers, an organization which promotes awareness of the organizing industry. I am currently a NAPO member as well as a member of Oregon's local chapter, NAPO Oregon.
