FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The investment for training begins with a base rate of $70 per session for training once per week. I offer a discount for those training more frequently. I drop it to $60 per session for training twice per week. I sell all of my training packages in 4 week increments. I offer 5% off to those who commit to 12 weeks at a time and 10% off to those who commit to 24 weeks at a time. I also offer online training for $159 per month for nutrition coaching and $199 for nutrition and fitness. My in-person clients receive access to the nutrition software as an added bonus.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start by getting to know you! The more I know, the better program I can provide. Which is great because the longer you train, the more personal your program becomes. I like to tackle building habits one at a time for the greatest lasting potential. We can work on fitness, food, general lifestyle habits, stress management techniques, etc. Whichever seems that it will have the biggest impact on your goals at the time. My clients come out with a skill set to truly take care of their bodies for life! While I'd love to keep my clients forever, that isn't always realistic with everyone's budget so I place a huge emphasis on educating you to be successful long after we are done training. Your workouts will be challenging, but appropriate for your current skill level and goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree in exercise science from Pacific University and I am a certified Precision Nutrition Coach. It is the only nutrition certification whose success has been verified by peer-reviewed journals and it has been verified by three. In the past I have received certifications through the National Council on Strength and Fitness and the American Council on Exercise. I am also a Biosignature Modulation Practioner, which places an emphasis on optimizing hormones through lifestyle, food, and supplementation (for example- using lifestyle techniques to combat chronically high levels of cortisol). I don't often bring up supplements with my clients until it feels relevant to their program, but I feel it is important to have a strong level of knowledge in this subject. The ones I most often recommend for a variety of reasons are digestive enzymes, probiotics, magnesium, multivitamins, vitamin D, and omega 3. I'm always reading and working with coaches that are better than me. I take my education very seriously. I never stop learning and I like to become more valuable to my clients over time. Right now I am working on an Eating Psychology Coach certification.
