- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to be competitive with market trends for my pricing. However, I do offer discounts for people who live close to me. I think that's fair since the travel time and gas is minimal. I also offer discounts for my regular dog walking clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free of charge 30 minute consultation so you can meet me and I can meet you and your pets. I understand that you need to find a pet sitter you can trust, so I want you to have the opportunity to get to know me and to feel comfortable!!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've done quite a lot of volunteering at shelters. I have also had over 5 years of experience as a pet sitter. I've also done quite a bit of rescue work- Paws4Life rescue and fostering. Quite honestly, I have been surrounded by animals my entire life! And not just cats and dogs. We are talking fish. reptiles, rabbits. turtles, lizards, and even snakes (we had a snake named Herman my entire childhood!). I have personally owned and treated both diabetic and kidney failure pets. I am a PRO at getting dogs and cats to take medications!
