FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge 30 dollars per hour for studio time and 50 dollars per track for mixing and mastering. These prices can change based upon the number of tracks and the project workload. For production work I typically start at 50 dollars per beat. That price goes up if you want me to personalize the instrumental or compose you something from scratch. I've worked with clients with varying musical experience and needs and I am always willing to work out a price that fits the budget for your project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with someone new I like have an initial phone conversation to discuss there goals my prices and make sure we are fit to work together. If that all goes well we schedule a session to meet in person and outline the project and deadlines and then get going.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Oberlin Conservatory where I created my own 'hip hop' major that combined Jazz, Electronic Music, Creative Writing, and African American Studies courses.
