We had a pleasant experience with Anya and would be continuing the lessons with her.Jun 24, 2019VerifiedVoice and Piano Lessons with Anya Kalina's reply
Thank you for your kind words, Swapna. It means a lot to me. I am looking forward to continuing with the lessons!
I was thrilled to find a voice teacher in my area with so much experience in music. She’s very pleasant, quick to reach out and very professional. I was super nervous coming into my first lesson which made all of my muscles tense up but she’s very good at conveying what’s supposed to happen and how to deliver the sound and the import role my whole body plays in the singing process. She’s very understanding and I’m excited to work with her.Feb 19, 2019Verified
Anya is a fabulous piano teacher with years of experience! I loved working with her because she kept me on track and she allowed me to be free in my practice! I highly recommend her for people of all ages and backgrounds!Apr 23, 2019
Mrs.Anya is a very experienced pianist and vocalist, and great teacher! She was very patient and caring with my son who had never played an instrument before. My ten year old son took private lessons with her so there was no rush or pressure for him to finish or feel like he needed to learn a certain note or song by a certain time. Mrs. Anya went acccording to my sons pace and interest. Im very pleased with how patient she was with my son and how flexible she was with me his mother and our schedule. I highly recommend Mrs. Anya she is very talented, knowledgeable and experienced and it was a pleasure working with her!May 30, 2019
Anya is an amazing teacher. She has great stories and multiple ways of explaining things. She creates a great learning environment for learning and has helped increased my confidence (which is why I wanted voice lessons). She has also successfully convinced me that I am actually a soprano and can hit notes I would have never thought possible. I always look forward to our lessons and working with her.Aug 9, 2018

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I teach 50 weeks a year. Paying for 3 months of consecutive lessons you get a free lesson. 6 months – 2 free lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? There are no two students alike. I generally develop lesson plans individually for every student based on their goals, skills, age and other factors.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have extensive experience teaching voice and piano for adults and children of different ability levels and in different music styles. I started studying music when I was very young and started teaching after earning my degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from the Academy of Fine Arts in Moscow, Russia.
