My first session with Functional Body was extremely eye opening and super beneficial to be health & fitness. I have been Very active all my life playing college soccer and a short period of time playing professional soccer. After my playing career I moved into lifting a lot of weights kind of going for the bodybuilding type of features that I was looking for. I thought becoming stronger and well balanced in my left side of Olympic lifting would benefit me longer-term and help me become a healthier person. I have done other types of fitness including yoga Pilates. Bar orange theory high intensity interval training and when I saw functional body I wanted to try it out. I knew core activation was a huge component of being fit but with working it with the instructor Brandon for the first time he really Opened my eyes about activating my transverse muscle which is a huge component in controlling your body movements and basic human Movement. I highly recommend anybody looking to become a better performing athlete, human being, healthier, long Jevity on joints I strongly encourage to take a session with functional body before doing any type of other fitness.
Mary-Anne is a very skilled and enthusiastic yoga instructor. Her encouragement while training is encouraging while her exercises are sure to whip you into shape. After practicing with Mary-Anne I noticed a difference in my flexibility, posture, and overall toning. I would highly recommend Mary-Anne Primack as a yoga teacher 😃
I hired Lisa for a ten-session personal training package in my home, to kick-start my fitness journey after an extended illness. My experience with her has been wonderful. Lisa shows up on time and gets right to the warmup and work out. I set up some personal parameters that I wanted to work within, and she has designed our sessions within those. She is friendly, encouraging, and makes the workouts fun. She watches for form to prevent injury and gives tips on what to be cautious of to stay safe in different moves. We have integrated some yoga moves and even a bit of meditation at my request. I will be sorry to have our sessions end. Great job, Lisa!! Thank you for getting me on my way!
Freedom's yoga classes at Studio Modern Yoga are quite refreshing and always a nice dose of fun. The approach is delightfully unique and catered to the needs of those in attendance. If you have a physical injury, she'll make sure to check in with you before sending you into a potentially painful pose. She's always been early and patiently waiting for attendees. Even having only occasionally done yoga for the past few years, she's got me doing inversions like I'm a regular practitioner. Freedom radiates a caring and loving energy, and is a pure delight to be around. Best vinyasa yoga teacher I've ever had!

I've been getting massage from Jonathan for almost two years now. When I met him I had been working with another massage therapist for over 15 years, but after talking with Jonathan at a social event, I decided to give his services a try. He has a fantastic approach to bodywork and is relentless about helping me work yoga and deep breathe into my daily life so that I can heal my body faster and build more strength and flexibility. I had a great experience with Hailey as my yoga instructor. She was very professional and did an excellent job explaining the different moves/how to do them. The whole set had a very nice flow, it was easy to follow which was nice because it allowed me to focus and not get distracted.

Janis Desmond is an excellent Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist. But even more, she is a caring and loving person. I recently finished a Series of 4 Yoga Therapy Sessions with Janis. I had taken a bad fall on the street and was in pain. After the first Yoga Therapy session, I felt as though I had never experienced what it means to have an OPEN spine until then.
