The Career:
Joe Rey, having a passion for music, fashion, and art, inspired him to start his journey on film and video production. He used to be Garret Brown's intern, the steadicam inventor, when he was attending Art Institute of Philadelphia.
It was an obvious development from there toward production designs for feature films, music videos, and commercials. His distinctive talents grew and became in demand, and Joe Rey started A.C.M.E. Art Department, a successful production design firm.
The Director:
The next phase of his career started when he gained knowledge from several of the best people in the business. Having the opportunity to work with Hype Williams, Joseph Kahn, Bob Giraldi, and Marcus Nispel gave insight, which drove Joe Rey's artistic vision.
This had led him to direct music videos that top the chart for artists, like Bryan Adams, Ricky Martin, LeAnn Rimes, Courtney Love, and The Backstreet Boys.
