- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our Thumbtack service is two movers plus a truck at $160 per hour, with a three-hour minimum of $480. Blankets and dollies are included for use during the move. Billable time starts when the crew arrives; additional time is billed at the same hourly rate. Any applicable mileage or materials charges are explained in your written quote before booking. The minimum is a starting charge, not a fixed price for unlimited work. Existing agreed customer quotes are honored.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first confirm the date, addresses, access, inventory, crew needs, and whether the customer has a truck or container. Then we provide a clear estimate and booking details. On moving day, the crew reviews the plan, protects furniture and home surfaces, works efficiently, and completes a final walkthrough before closing out the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team has hands-on professional moving experience in safe lifting, furniture protection, loading strategy, space planning, disassembly and reassembly, and damage prevention. Crews train on careful handling, communication, and efficient teamwork so customers receive a consistent professional experience.
